In here I talk about random stuff to do with Homestuck, like theories, comments on updates and so.
Niiiiice! A sprite mode for both God Tier Roxy and Jade! I wonder what the other B2 God Tier Kids and especially Jane look like!
Also, hah, Jade is almost becoming just like Jack, what with tracking down people through scent! Last time John probably didn’t even realize it the wind made him untrackable for Jack, but he probably does this time!
I think that with some practice Roxy would be able to make something that allows her to escape her cell, but yeah, Jade would probably just track her down immediately. And if she’d find a way to go invisible again, that probably wouldn’t help either what with her scent. Maybe Roxy will find a way to not only make objects appear, but also to make scents appear, so she can disguise herself just like John and escape from the cell?
Oh wow, so THAT is what the Condesce wants Roxy to do! Now that I think about it, it was all so obvious. How come we (or at least I) didn’t realize? We should have seen this coming.
That’s a very interesting power for Roxy to have! Making objects without wasting grist on it! And hah, the perfectly generic objects are not only perfectly generic in terms of captcha code, but also the most generic to make with Rogue of Void powers!
It wouldn’t surprise me if we’re now going to do a perspective switch again, and when we return to Roxy and Jade, the room is suddenly full with loads of random objects that Roxy accidentally made. Heck, maybe there will even be some messed up objects, like the messed up rocketpack John made with the random code! That would be funny.
And I wonder if the Condesce does succeed and make the new Troll race, would that eventually become the race Nektan and Mierfa were part of?

but this made me kind of sad
what really strikes me is the change in posture. In the top image, Jade appears almost sulky- she is slouching, leaning one leg further ahead than the other. Her head is down, and her gaze is directed at the floor. In the bottom image, she stands tall, erect, proud. Instead of being balled into fists, her hands are open and relaxed. Her legs are aligned, showing strength, and her gaze is forward, showing determination. The stark contrast between the two images makes it seem that Jade is actively fighting her mind-control, as everything about her is out of keeping with the bottom image. She would also appear despairing if she was cognizant of what she was being forced to do- namely, betraying her dearest friends.

Her pose had immediately reminded me of Cascade, and so did the fact that she shrunk a planet in the meantime, but I hadn’t thought of it like this. D:
For years, Andrew Hussie ran the storyline for Homestuck.
Then, everything changed when Caliborn ascended to the god-tier.
Only John Egbert, general protagonist of the storyline, could stop him.
But when the fandom needed him most, he vanished….

Some thoughts about Rose “playing the rain”
What Jaspersprite said was this:
ROSE: Jaspers, the message you gave me years ago before you disappeared…
ROSE: What did you mean?
JASPERSPRITE: Meow.

ROSE: I don’t understand.
ROSE: Is there some meaning to these responses, or are you just being obstinate?

JASPERSPRITE: All the life in the ocean and all the shiny rain and the songs in your head and the letters they make.
JASPERSPRITE: A beam of light i think is like a drop of rain or a long piece of yarn that dances around when you play with it and make it look enticing!
JASPERSPRITE: And the way that it shakes is the same as what makes notes in a song!
JASPERSPRITE: And a song i think can be written down as letters.
JASPERSPRITE: So if you play the right song and it makes all the right letters then those letters could be all the letters that make life possible.
JASPERSPRITE: So all you have to do is wake up and learn to play the rain!
He’s at least partly referring to the MEOW letters that Rose wrote on her walls without realizing, which she discovers when she wakes up and which makes Bec’s life possible.
And this part:

JASPERSPRITE: All the life in the ocean and all the shiny rain and the songs in your head and the letters they make.
Seems to refer to her personal quest, what with what she has to do on LOLAR, but also the code she wrote on her wall and the personal problems she has.
But he also refers to a beam of light (which we now know could mean knowledge) that “dances around”, like notes of a song. If she uses the right song, life can exist.
Perhaps Jaspersprite meant that after Rose woke up, she would begin developing her abilities as the Seer of Light, which would allow her to gain knowledge (“beams of light”), and if she combines the knowledge in the right way, the right combination will form that will allow her to follow the right path!
Who knows, maybe this means that Rose has already “played the rain” without neither her nor us realizing it!
IDE/Theory: The Jane that is on Derse is Past Jane while her Future self is the one making GCat (presumably) in the Veil as seen in the flash. After Future Jane did that, she will jump into the Lotus Time Capsule, and will arrive in Caliborn’s time, after his session has already been going on for a while, and will help him there.
IDE/Theory: Dad, Roxy and Jake will turn out to be prisoned in the same hallway of the same building. Their doors are right next to each other. They will start getting in contact by passing on some notes, with Dad starting it obviously. And then they will work together to break out of those rooms.
Since Jack broke out of jail Jailbreak style, I don’t see why Dad, Roxy and Jake couldn’t break out Problem Sleuth style, acting as PS, PI and AD. :D
I’m hoping for either this, or John being the one to break out Dad like he wanted to do in B1.
Welp, back to Past Jane and Past Jade, it appears! Maybe just like how this Jane meeting Jake thing was kind of a sneak peek, the Jane making GCat was also just a sneak peek of the future? And so was Jade going to Earth?
Unless she’s already come back somehow, of course.
I am happy that I called the fact that the perspective would now have gone to a different planet. Too bad we didn’t get to see Dad, though!
So, we know that the Condesce wants Jade to force Roxy to do that plan (whatever it may be), while it seems she also has a task for Jake to do!
I wonder if up next we’re going to see Prospit, with the White Queen?
And if that fails to work as well, maybe we’re going to see the B2 Lands and see who’s on there?
And if that fails, then your guess is as good as mine as what is going to happen. :P
Heh, I only just realized that on that map of the Incipisphere you could also see the stardust hanging over LOLAR, just like in the close-up! Nice attention to detail!
But if the close-up is the same as the far-away view, that would mean LOCAH and LOTAK would also be a little bit messed up.
